MICROCHIPS
Millions of cats are lost or stolen every year. Supplying your cat with a microchip dramatically increases your chances of having them found and returned should they ever go missing. A microchip is a permanent way to identify your kitty. It is recommended for all cats, but required for outdoor cats.

The microchip is the size of a rice grain, and placed subcutaneously (under the skin) around your kitty's shoulder blades. Each microchip is programmed with a unique number, which will be registered to your personal information. We are able to implant a microchip at any time, but having a microchip put in during an anesthetic procedure, such as a spay or neuter, is the perfect time. Most adoptable cats and kittens are already registered with a microchip. In this case, you should be sure to have the microchip transferred to your name when you adopt your new fur baby
